The Short Version
Some links on Trades Business Software are affiliate links. If you click one and purchase or sign up for a product, we may receive a commission. This costs you nothing extra. Our ratings, rankings, and editorial opinions are never influenced by whether a product has an affiliate programme.
How Affiliate Links Work on This Site
When we include an affiliate link, it is tracked through PartnerStack, an affiliate management platform used by many SaaS companies. When you click a tracked link and complete a qualifying action (usually signing up for a paid plan), the vendor pays us a referral commission.
Affiliate links are typically used on:
- Review pages — "Visit [Product]" or "Start Free Trial" buttons
- Comparison pages — product call-to-action buttons
- Buying guide pages — recommended product links
Pages containing affiliate links are identified with a notice at the top of the article.
What This Does Not Mean
Having an affiliate programme does not:
- Guarantee a positive review
- Change a product's score or ranking position
- Result in us omitting negative findings
- Mean the product was "featured" based on commission rate
Several products reviewed on this site do not have affiliate programmes at all. They are reviewed because they are relevant to our readers — not because they generate revenue for us. Similarly, some affiliated products receive low scores or are not recommended because our evaluation found them to be a poor fit for most trades businesses.
